Created in the spring of 2004, the Intel Nizhny‘s Novgorod Lab (INNL) is now one of the largest Intel research and software development centers in Europe. Acting as the hub site for Russia research and development, the INNL also hosts the Russia Marketing Center and various support groups.
The Russia Software Development Center, operating since 2000, employs over 450 specialists. Focusing on creating new and innovative software development products for Internet-related technologies, the development center helps customers harness the power of Intel architecture for e-Business solutions.

Engineers at Nizhny Novgorod develop such key technologies as:
Performance libraries
Performance tools
Parallel and distributed solutions
Release engineering infrastructure

The Russia Marketing Center (RMC) serves as Intel’s strategic hub for long-term marketing in Russia/ Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In a very short period of time, the RMC established marketing operations and drove dozens of marketing events throughout Russia including Intel Channel Conferences, Digital Roadshows, PC Carnivals, and Premier Provider events.
The Intel Russia site at Nizhny Novgorod has a cafeteria and organized clubs, such as a football team, for employees to enjoy. In addition, employees are eligible to belong to a sports complex with a swimming pool, gym and sauna.
